Slow and sluggish; that's how my day started. I didn't want to wake up. I absolutely loathe Mondays. As I was getting ready, however, I spied my little brother, his hair tussled and his eyes nearly closed. I wished him a happy birthday. The little booger is seven now.
School was pretty uneventful. Lunch was great, as always. We are planning a surprise birthday party for Mrs. Pace on Friday in Choir. I'm so excited. Work was busier than usual. I actually had stuff to do for the majority of the time that I was there, and when I didn't, Glenda and I had stuff to talk about. That's always fun.
When I got home, I really wanted a nap, but I was denied that particular privilege. My mom and Jason were preparing dinner for Nathan's birthday and our family that would be over because of the occasion. Steak. Yum. It was delicious, as was the cake. Above, you see Nathan with his new starter guitar and his...yes, phone. I think it's ridiculous, too. But my mom says it will be good for him to be able to keep in touch with his dad in California much easier. I still think it's ridiculous.
Anyway, I have just been talking with my mom and Jason and practicing for the musical since everyone went home. I'm going to go read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire now. I'm really, really tired, but my day will feel empty if I don't read at least a couple of chapters. Plus, it's only 11:10 now. Not too late for some Harry. Baha.
